Mr. Attaf discusses, in New York, with several counterparts from friendly, brotherly countries

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held discussions on Wednesday, in New York, with several of his counterparts from brotherly and friendly countries, on the sidelines of his chairmanship of high-level meetings scheduled as part of Algeria's presidency of the United Nations Security Council.

In this regard, Attaf met with the Minister of External Relations of the Republic of Angola, Téte Antonio, the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of Namibia, Peya Mushelenga, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uganda, Jeje Odongo Abubakher, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Musa Timothy Kabba, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of South Sudan, Ramadan Mohamed Abdallah Goc.

Attaf's discussions with his Angolan counterpart enabled an exchange of views on several issues and files on the African Union's agenda, in preparation for Angola's presidency of this continental organization starting next February.
